How do I save my game to, or retrieve my game from, the cloud?

NOTE: Cross-platform (Android -> iOS or vice versa) cloud save is not yet available, but coming soon.

Connect to the cloud:

In your existing game, tap the gear icon settings.png at the bottom right to bring up Settings.

At the bottom, it says "Game Service:"

If it says "not connected" (Android) but you are logged in to your Google Play account:

  • Tap the gray icon google_play.png beside the Facebook icon
  • Tap the 3 vertical dots at the top right
  • Tap 'Settings'
  • Sign out of your account and then sign back in
  • Close Settings in-game and re-open Settings in-game to see your Game Service ID listed now.

If it says "not connected" (iOS) but you are logged in to your Game Center account:

  • Tap the gray icon game_center.png beside the Facebook icon
  • Sign in to your Game Center account (it may do this automatically)
  • Tap 'Done'
  • Close Settings in-game and re-open Settings in-game to see your Game Service ID listed now.

Congrats, your game progress is now safely saved to the cloud!

To retrieve your game on a device on the same platform:

Follow the same steps as above:

  • Once the game is installed, tap Settings in-game
  • Tap the gray icon for your service
  • Login (or reconnect) to your Google Play/Game Center account
  • It should ask you if you want to restore your saved game

To retrieve your game on a device on a different platform:

Our support team can manually restore your progress. If you haven't yet, be sure to take a screenshot of your Settings screen so that you save your User ID. Your User ID is needed for us to link a device to your existing account.

NOTE: Since your progress is now linked to your Game Services account, if you ever change your Game Services account please contact us to manually transfer your progress so that you don't inadvertently lose your progress by connecting to a different Game Services account.
